The state of Florida approves the use of medical marijuana to treat AIDS/HIV, ALS, Cancer, Crohn’s Disease, Epilepsy, Glaucoma, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, PTSD. The state of Florida also approves of the use of medical marijuana for conditions of the same kind or class as the above, i.e. a diagnosis of depression/anxiety/insomnia is of the same kind as PTSD.
An appointment typically takes 15-20 minutes. We will send you a link to the paperwork once you are on the schedule so you can complete the forms in the comfort of your own home and spend less time at the clinic. After meeting with the doctor, we will help you finish the registration process and answer any additional questions you may have.
After your appointment, Florida residents with a valid Florida driver's license will be instantly approved. For seasonal residents or patients with a Florida ID card, it will typically take two weeks to receive an approval email from the state. Once you receive that email, you can start shopping at the dispensaries with your driver’s license. The medical marijuana card will come in the mail about two weeks after you receive the approval email.
Yes, there is a $75 fee that is paid to the state in order to process your information and generate your medical marijuana card. You will need to renew your card every year and pay the $75 each time. We will not charge you extra for flower orders or order increases and we will never ask that you come in more often than the state requires.
Yes, you can have a Caregiver added to your file in the MMU Registry. That person must be at least 21 years of age and submit a Caregiver application to the state’s Registry and pay a $75 fee to the state for a Medical Marijuana Caregiver card. There is an additional $20 administrative fee paid to Inspire WellnessRX.
Inspire Wellness Rx accepts payments by cash, credit card or debit card. Unfortunately, insurance does not currently cover medical marijuana expenses.
If you are a permanent resident of Florida, the Registry will only accept a valid Florida driver’s license or Florida ID. The address on the DL or ID must match the address we add to the Registry.
*If your driver’s license or ID does not have the current address where your mail is delivered to, you can put in a Mail Forwarding Request with the Post Office online. Make sure you ask for a two-month forwarding request from the address on your driver’s license/ID to the address where you currently get your mail delivered.
If you are a seasonal resident of Florida, the Registry will accept only the following forms of Proof of Residency: lease or deed, gas bill, water bill, electricity bill, bank statement, or letter from a federal, state or city government agency.
After your first appointment, Inspire WellnessRX will add 7 months of orders (prescriptions) to your account in the Registry including three 70-day orders of oral, edibles, sublingual, inhalation and topical cream and six 35-day orders of flower. You will need to schedule a renewal appointment after 7 months to get another 7 months of orders added to your account. We will send you a reminder to book your Renewal Appointment one month before your orders expire.
Renewal Visits are $99 every 7 months. We will provide you with the most up-to-date list of dispensary discounts, go over how the program is working for you and enter another 7 months of orders into the MMU Registry.
Yes, we do offer home visits! We understand that travelling is not an easy task for some patients so we will schedule the doctor to come to your home and assist you with the whole process from a to z. The cost for this service is only $229.
